Presents For You

since caring for a family member, i’ve not had much time to create, other than scheduled posts, so i had fun making this birthday card for my daughter. i’m playing  along with the taylored expressions’ share joy challenge 42:

i painted these cute taylored expressions present die cuts with twinkling H2Os, added stickles to the dots, cut the bows with glitter paper, added pretty pink posh gold stars, popped them on foam tape and finished it off with a splattered background.

i’d also like to submit this to simon says work it wednesday challenge: wafer thin dies.

thanks for popping by.

  1. This is absolutely gorgeous! I love the colours, the ombre effect on the presents, and how glitzy everything is.

  2. Linda this card looks wonderful, I was going to compliment you on your very soft colour blending then you said you painted with H2o’s. Looks brilliant

  3. Awe! This is so sweet and cute! I love the fun colors and the wonderful use of the sketch!! Thanks so much for joining us for this week’s Share Joy Challenge.

  5. Yikes, those little presents are too sweet. Love your ombre effect, too. Your splattering was the perfect finishing touch to a darling birthday card, Linda.
