In Loving Memory

i made this card in memory of my son who passed away six years ago today.

COPYRIGHT LINDA @ SNAILZPACE.WORDPRESS.COM

the image reminds me of all the adventurous stories my husband would make up and i think he passed on his vivid imagination to our son, who would create his own characters in his unique artistic style and in writing.

i watercoloured with twinkling H2Os, watercolour paints and watercolour pencils and i’m submitting this to kathy’s 30 day colouring challenge, day 18.

  1. A beautiful card and a wonderful tribute to your son. I am so sorry that you lost your son when he was such a young man. So heartbreaking. hugs to you.

  2. Today is a difficult day. Although time passes and our memories might fade slightly, there is always a memory or two that keeps us moving along life’s journey. Will must have loved seeing what you did with your distinct memory of his dad creating incredible stories and then how he would tweak them just a little to make them his own. Your card presents a soft and comforting scene from Will’s life. It’s really a very tender and moving card, Ms Linda,

  3. Simply perfect & a lovely way to remember your son, like Brenda sending you hugs across the Atlantic, luv Sam x

  4. Hello, Linda. I am so sorry about your son. I had no idea, but I am glad you feel like you can share this with all of us! Your card is beautiful, and you are a beautiful person to be honoring his memory by creating something so wonderful. HUGS to you at this difficult time of year. <3 Mynn xx
