Christmas Wreath

DSC01016
i’m really cutting it close to the deadline for this week’s cheery lynn design challenge to use borders and edgers. i cut the wreath strip border die 4 times and attached the branches to die cut circles; each layer was popped with foam tape and i added stickles and some red glass seed beads. i used the frame 141 window die to create the window panels, which i lightly sponged with distress ink and then i trimmed the window frame and attached it to another rectangle which is also on foam tape. finally, i added a red bow.

i’d also like to submit this to the one crazy stamper challenge christmas theme this month, the allsorts challenge theme of christmas cheer and the crafty calendar challenge november theme of all things christmas. thanks for popping by.

  1. Linda, this is just stunning. I love the white on white with the beautiful pop of red. Good luck and thanks for joining in on the fun at Cheery Lynn Designs challenge.

  2. Wow, No H2o’s on this one, but it’s just as gorgeous as always. The stickles glittered & showed off the red seed beads marvelously. Beautiful card…your wreath looks so icy! TFS & Hugs

  3. This card is so elegant … Stunning and such clever use of the dies to create the dimension … Thanks for joining us at Cheery Lynn this week for our challenge

  4. As I hate doing it I will admit at the beginning that this is a copy and paste comment as I am unable to type properly at the moment, but didn’t want to miss the opportunity to take a look at your lovely Christmas creation and thank you for joining us at Allsorts this week.
